Summer Career Development Opportunities!
Dear Summer Students,
We hope that the summer weeks are going well and invite you to visit our office to welcome our recently appointed career advisors! Our office is located at MU011 and we are available for one-on-one career advising appointments through the Jacobs School’s Career Portal.
Summer is a great time to work on your long-term projects such as career exploration, job and internship search strategies, resume and cv writing, portfolio development, website development, and interview strategies.
If you have questions, feel free to contact the office by sending an email to: jsomoecd@indiana.edu!
THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT!
A series of upgrades to the Career Portal this summer include an app, called "CAREERS BY SYMPLICITY" for your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device. Please be sure to download it from your app store soon and let us know how well it works for you.
All advising scheduling, workshop signups, as well as resources in the JSoM Career Portal will be available through the app. NOTE: Please be sure to enter your IU username and password when using the app. If you're not a registered student, you might not be able to log in correctly.
INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP CAREER CONSULTING
Meet with an advisor to discuss your career plans,
review your resume, CV, bio, website, or any other
material. Log into the Career Portal to set up
an appointment. If you're logging in for the first time, you'll need to fill out a few questions to create your profile.
We’d love to see you!
