Information for Student Composition Recitals (for K400/K810/K910 students only)
Submit this form during the appropriate submission period indicated in brackets next to the date of recital below. Submissions outside the appropriate period will be ignored.
SPECIAL PIANO NEEDS: If your work uses piano and calls for any technique other than normal playing on the keys, such as removing the lid or doing ANYTHING inside the piano, you MUST contact the Piano Repair Shop at least two weeks prior to the recital to let them know about this and to discuss any arrangements that might need to be made.
SPECIAL AUDIO NEEDS: If a work requires sound playback or sound reinforcement (microphones, etc.), it is the student's responsibility to contact the Department of Audio Engineering and Sound Production no less than two weeks in advance and provide details of the equipment needed and the recital and dress rehearsal dates and times. Email audiopro@indiana.edu. In addition, works prepared using the facilities of the
Center for Electronic and Computer Music must have the prior approval of Profs. John Gibson or Chi Wang.
Dress rehearsals are scheduled for the stage of the hall in which the recital will take place. An e-mail to sign up for dress rehearsal times will be sent out to all composers involved two weeks before the recital.
Please note that giving your birth year is now optional.
