Where do I put . . . ?
The DMAI serves the entire IU system, thus there are many types of activity in each area. Much of what is offered in the DMAI will not apply to you, and you may not find an exact fit for what you do. You will need to make choices that you feel best reflect your activity and do your best to make consistent choices. Many areas of the DMAI also have an "Other" category with options for descriptive text.
The activity types in the list below are based on the options given in drop-down menus found throughout the DMAI. This is intended to help you navigate through the various sections as you decide how to record your activity. The linked pages provide more information about what kind of details you will be prompted to enter on each screen.
