Philosophy of Music Education Review features research in music education that addresses philosophical or theoretical issues, reform initiatives, philosophical writings, theories, the nature and scope of education and its goals and purposes, and cross-disciplinary dialogue relevant to the interests of music education. The journal is edited by Estelle R. Jorgensen and published twice a year in partnership with Indiana University Press.
