Please submit your event program to the Music Program Office, musprgrm@indiana.edu, at least two weeks prior to the recital date.
Discuss any publicity needs/requests with the Office of Communications via the Communications Request Forms.
For audio support, including concert recording and/or sound reinforcement, and recording sessions, requests must be made through the Audio Engineering and Sound Production Department’s Recording Services website.
All requests for audio support must be made no less than four weeks prior to your event. As a general rule, note that we have limited student availability, so contact Recording Services as soon as possible with your general scope, and continue to communicate as specifics develop. These are only general guidelines, so please familiarize yourself with the specific information about recordings and sound reinforcement: https://musintra.sitehost.iu.edu/departments/offices/recording-services/index.html
If you wish your event to be live streamed, contact IUMusicLive (iuml@indiana.edu) to request livestreaming, as soon as possible. Events must be approved by the PCC at least 3 weeks prior to the event to be eligible for IUMusicLive streaming, to ensure enough time to acquire streaming licenses for the repertoire.
Events occurring in the four performance hall venues (Ford Hall, Recital Hall, Auer Hall, and MAC Auditorium) are eligible to be live streamed by IUMusicLive. There are copyright/licensing factors which will determine if live stream will be possible. JSoM streaming events not streamed by IUMusicLive are subject to the same copyright and licensing requirements as concerts in our halls. Please direct any questions to Phil Ponella (pponella@indiana.edu).
For use of projection systems, contact both Music ITS (musicits@indiana.edu) for help with the technology, and Recital Setup (setups@indiana.edu) to plan for help setting up and putting away the screen.
For other technical support questions, contact both Music ITS (musicits@indiana.edu) and Music Facilities.
Requests for harpsichords and organs must be made through the
Piano Shop, located in MA067.
