The Secondary Piano Program of the IU Jacobs School of Music:
- provides elective piano instruction for all students at IUB and required piano classes for music majors;
- administers placement tests at the beginning of each semester to place incoming music majors into the appropriate piano courses;
- oversees keyboard proficiency examinations for music majors.
