Young Winds
Program only offered in the Spring Semester
The Young Winds Program is designed to supplement the middle school band experience of Bloomington area instrumentalists. Our instructors are experts in the areas of flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet (all types), saxophone (all types), French horn, trumpet, baritone horn/euphonium, trombone, tuba, and percussion. Students are separated into two ensembles, a beginner band and an advanced band. Each ensemble performs several full band pieces, as well as a section feature on the last day of the program. The program takes place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday mornings in the Musical Arts Center, from January to April.
