Student Representative Committee
The Student Representative Committee (SRC) exists to address matters pertaining to the academic, professional, and social climate, as well as the quality of life of the student body of the Jacobs School of Music. The committee is comprised of undergraduate and graduate student representatives from each department within JSOM, as well as students serving as representatives to the JSOM faculty councils. The SRC meets three times per semester to address ideas and concerns from the JSOM student body and present student input to the administration when appropriate. A full list of representatives and vacancies for the 2022–2023 school year can be found below.
We want to hear from you!
We are always looking to advocate for our fellow students and bring ideas to the faculty and administration. If you have any comments, or suggestions, about how to improve the academic, professional, and social climate, as well as the quality of life at JSoM, we would be happy to hear them.
Interested in joining the SRC?
Each JSOM department has a student representative seat on the SRC! Student representatives are selected through faculty recommendation. If you would like to be the representative for your department, please contact your department chair (cc: email@example.com) to be recommended. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about committee activities or how to get involved.
If you are interested in serving as student representative to the Diversity and Equity Committee, Lecture Committee, Performance Coordinating Committee, or Travel Committee, please contact the faculty chair for the committee you wish to serve. More information about JSOM committees can be found here.
