Mason Copeland is a Masters student at Indiana University who studies choral conducting with Dominick DiOrio, Richard Tang Yuk and organ with Janette Fishell. In 2012 the Jacob’s School of Music awarded Mason an Associate Instructor position in the choral department after serving as a Graduate Assistant in the organ department. He has sung previously in the Pro Arte Singers with William Gray. Mason is a member of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) and has recently been accepted into the Association of Anglican Musicians. This past summer, Mason attended a workshop with Jerry Blackstone at the Princeton Arts Festival were he conducted the Princeton Arts Festival Choir. In 2008, Mason traveled to Germany to study organ with Ludgar Lohman sponsored by East Carolina University. Mason has performed recitals throughout the Midwest. He has presented a masterclass at Interlochen Arts Camp in the summer of 2010. Mason placed first in the Regional Competition for Young Organists hosted by the Indianapolis chapter of the AGO. Mason currently serves as the Organist-Choirmaster of All Saints Episcopal Church, Indianapolis.
