Caleb Lewis
Caleb Lewis grew up in Rome, GA, where he learned to play alto saxophone and flute. He then studied sacred music and voice at Furman University, where he served as student conductor of the Furman Singers and director of the Furman Chancel Choir. Caleb holds a Master’s degree in choral conducting from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. During his time at Emory, he sang with the Atlanta Master Chorale and served as Director of Music Ministries at Peachtree Corners Presbyterian Church (ARP).
His major teachers have included Eric Nelson, Hugh Floyd, Bingham Vick, and Leslie Hicken. Caleb has conducted in masterclasses with John Nelson, Jerry Blackstone, and Edvard Tchivzhel. In the first year of his DM in choral conducting, he is now assisting Dr. Steve Zegree with the Singing Hoosiers.
